Delete your Sprout account

Delete your account in the app

Open Sprout and sign in.
On the Shopping tab, open the menu (the three dots at the top right) and tap Account.
Tap Delete account.
Read the list of what will happen, enter your password, and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away. This can't be undone.

Bought Sprout Plus through the App Store or Google Play? Cancel it there first (iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions; Android: Play Store, your profile, Payments & subscriptions). Deleting your Sprout account does not stop Apple or Google from billing you.

Delete your account without the app

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email support-sprout@mikrodev.net from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Sprout account".

To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 30 days of confirming and email you when it's done.

Only want some of your data removed, such as one list or your name? Ask the same way. You can also delete lists, items and templates yourself in the app at any time.

What is deleted

Your account: email address, password and name.
Every list you own, with all of its items, inventory, categories and stores. These lists are deleted for everyone in them. To keep a list for others, hand it over to another member first (Members & invite code, then Make owner).
Your membership in lists owned by other people.
Your Sprout Plus access. If you pay for a family, its members lose Plus. Time left in the current period is not refunded, except where the law requires it. A subscription bought on the web is cancelled with no further charges, and your customer record at Stripe, our payment processor, is deleted.
Templates saved in your library.
The copy of your lists that Sprout keeps on your phone for offline use. It is cleared when the account is deleted in the app. If you delete by email, uninstalling Sprout removes it.

What is kept, and for how long
